Ich war die letzten beiden Tage mal wieder unterwegs in Deutschland. Wer we\"\"<\/a>i\u00df wo das Haus, in dem ich \u00fcbrigens auch gerne ne Wohnung h\u00e4tte, wenn es in Karlsruhe stehen w\u00fcrde, steht, wei\u00df auch wo ich war. Jedenfalls war ich zum Arbeiten da und hab die Stadt nur im Vorbeigehen kurz sehen k\u00f6nnen. Bei der Arbeit hatte ich daf\u00fcr ziemlich Spa\u00df. Ich habe versucht ein Matlabscript zu schreiben um meine Messdaten besonders sch\u00f6n darzustellen. Aus irgendeinem mir immernoch unbekannten Grund, schrieb Matlab aber nur NaN (not a number) in die Matrix. Weil ich dar\u00fcber so verzweifelt war, tippte ich im Command Window „warum“ ein. Das kannte Matlab nat\u00fcrlich nicht und in einem Anflug von Wahnwitz, formulierte ich meine Frage dann auf englisch: „Why“. Und ich bekam Antwort. „Pete wanted it that way.“ gab Matlab aus. Ich war so begeistert, dass ich gleich nochmal „why“ frug. Und nochmal, und nochmal. Matlab generierte daraufhin immer neue Antworten, die meistens sogar Sinn ergaben. Meine Favorits waren „The computer did it.“, „To satisfy the smart and terrified hamster.“, „How should I know?“ und „In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth…“.<\/p>\n

Die zugeh\u00f6rige Helpdatei und die why.m-Datei habe ich mir dann auch mal angeschaut.<\/p>\n

Spektakul\u00e4r, dass da tats\u00e4chlich ein Programmierer Zeit damit verbracht hat das zu programmieren. Allerdings hat sich’s wirklich gelohnt. Mein \u00c4rger auf Matlab war verflogen (obwohl das Problem seit dem auf Eis liegt).
\nHier noch ein Auszug aus dem m-file. Die special_cases finde ich n\u00e4mlich am Besten.<\/p>\n
